Walk 2
Longer walk across farmland past Burnt Hall - 2.5 miles
Cross the road in front of the Village Hall turning left. Take the first left along Coney Weston Road for 1/2 mile. Take path through the field gate on left and follow trail across three fields passing Burnt Hall on your right, (D). Cross river Blackbourn via footbridge and follow track along the fields, (seat halfway along). Follow signs along hedges and uphill onto Water Lane near electricity station. Follow large track straight ahead back to the road, cross, turn left back to bridge and Village Hall.
Variations~:
Burnt Hall - leaving the route at point D walk across field to trees surrounding the mound. there is an opening in the far side and an information board. Retrace steps to point D and resume route.
