POTS Gardening Club meets in Coney Weston Village Hall.
Last Thursday of the month - Coney Weston Village Hall - Doors open 7pm for 7:30pm
In January we meet for a social evening meal.
February /March/April we have speakers on the last Thursday of every month.
Doors open at 7pm and the talks begin at 7.30
The evening also includes a raffle and refreshments and speakers often bring plants for sale.
May/June/July and August we visit gardens and go on a coach trip to a garden further afield.
Talks begin again in September with a break for Christmas.
You can become a member of POTS by paying a £10 annual membership fee and £2 on the door.
Less frequent guests pay £4 on the door.
Subjects for talks focus on flowering plants, vegetables, garden design, famous gardens.

January 29th - Social Dinner at The Bunbury Arms @ 6.30pm
February 26th - Terry O’Donoghue - History of the Abbey Gardens
March 26th - Nigel Last –‘Plant Heritage - conserving the diversity of garden plants’.
April 30th - Suffolk Tree Warden Network - David Appleton
Summer visits–
May 28th. Private visit to Fullers Mill with an introductory talk at 2pm - £13 payment will need to be paid in advance.
June 25th - Private Twilight Tour with Adrian Bloom at Bressingham Gardens - With refreshments. £20 for members and £22 for guests
July 15th - Wolfe Hall, Barrow, IP29 5EZ - 2pm - This lovely 16th century house is set in 5 and a half acres with large perennial area, orchard, vegetable plot and statuary. It will be at its best in July and it is really impressive. Excellent refreshments will be served in a courtyard area and Chris Watson from Watson Nursery will be selling plants. The fee will be £10 in aid of St Nicholas Hospice.

September 24th - Karon Sanders- ‘Autumn jobs for Spring Colour’. With our usual ‘autumn fair’.
October 29th - Annual General Meeting preceded by:
‘Climate Change, Gardening, and Us’ - Presented by the Climate Change Gardening Charity
November 26th - James Bucher ‘A journey into farming without chemicals’. Farming with nature, rather than against it
December - Christmas crafts
