Euston Park Bowmen
Euston Park Bowmen, a friendly local archery club, founded in 1987 and based in Euston, Thetford.
We are a small, welcoming club of around 12 members, and we are very much hoping to grow. Archery is a wonderfully inclusive sport, I myself am a wheelchair user, and we genuinely welcome people of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced archers. Whether someone has never held a bow in their life or wants to develop an existing skill, there is a place for them with us.
We meet on Wednesday evenings throughout spring and summer, and on Sunday early afternoons during the autumn and winter months. Sessions are relaxed, sociable affairs, there is plenty of banter, a good chat, and always a warm, friendly atmosphere.
The sport is also surprisingly affordable. Our membership fees cover full insurance through Archery GB, so there are no hidden costs, and equipment can be borrowed when starting out.
