Time to look after the grass!
Feed, treat moss and weeds and re-seed bare patched.
sow grass seed now or wait till autumn
mow at least once a fortnight or once a week in mild weather

Leave spring bulbs for 6 weeks after flowering before cutting down foliage

HERBS (hardy)

parsley
chervil
coriander
fennel
dill
marjoram
FRUIT

plant strawberries
plant and tie in grapevine and figs
check and harvest forced rhubarb
feed blackcurrants, blackberries and hybrid berries
prune stone fruit trees if needed

start standing bedding plants and frost tender vegetables outside on fine days to harden them off gradually.  Keep them in a frost-free greenhouse or frame for the rest of the time
